‘Assaulting a colleague’ Mane to be Ronaldo’s teammate, not Kim Min-jae’s…Al Nasr bids 52.1 billion to sign Mane

Saudi Arabia’s Al Nasr are set to hold talks with Bayern Munich over the signing of Sadio Mane.

European transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano said on his personal social media account on Monday (Nov. 28), “Al Nasr will offer €37 million to Munich for Mane. Al Nasr is confident in the negotiations. Mane’s agent has negotiated the terms of the contract with Al Nasr.”

Mane is a destructive winger who uses his pace and elasticity to break down defenses. He is considered a good attacking option due to his excellent positioning and his ability to shoot with both feet. He is most threatening on the counterattack thanks to his quick feet. He’s also very active, which makes him a great addition to the team.

It was with Salzburg that Mane first made a name for himself. In 63 games for Salzburg, he scored 31 goals and provided 26 assists. He performed well enough to earn a move to Southampton, where he entered the English Premier League (EPL). In his first season with Southampton in 2014-15, he scored 10 goals in 30 league games. He followed that up with 11 goals and seven assists the following season.

Jürgen Klopp signed Mane because he was proven in the EPL. Mane has had some glorious moments since arriving at Liverpool. He formed a “wife line” with Firmino and Mohamed Salah. Mane led the EPL in scoring in 2018-19 and reached the top of the UEFA Champions League (UCL). The following season, the Reds won their long-awaited EPL title. It was the first EPL title in Liverpool’s history.

Munich needed offensive reinforcements after losing Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona. With the addition of Mane, the Bavarians built a strong squad, but it wasn’t quite what they expected. After dominating the Bundesliga in recent years, the Bavarians fell behind Dortmund last season. After falling behind Dortmund in the league, Munich fired Julian Nagelsmann and hired Thomas Tuchel. Tuchel declared that a treble was the goal, but the team was eliminated in the quarterfinals of both the UCL and DFB Pokal. They regained the top spot, only to lose it back to Dortmund. Luckily, they were spared as Dortmund lost to Mainz in the final. 메이저놀이터

Along with Munich, Mane had a tough season. The destructive force he had shown at Liverpool was gone, and he was even talking trash. Mane punched Leroy Sane in the face during a 0-3 UCL quarterfinal first leg loss to Manchester City. He was subsequently suspended and fined by the club. In the end, Mane scored just 12 goals in 38 games, including cup competitions.

As Mane’s role in Munich diminished, Saudi Arabia showed interest. Al Ahli were the first to show interest in Mane. Al Ahli, who had just signed Roberto Firmino, wanted Mane to join them and envisioned a reunion between Mane and Firmino in a ‘wife line’. However, no progress was made, and Ronaldo’s club Al Nasr entered the fray for Mane.
