September 22, 2023 <Day 6
We spent the night at a hotel in Jinhua after covering the second group game between South Korea and Thailand the day before. Normally, I would have traveled to Hangzhou the next morning or afternoon to cover the rest of the tournament, as I did in the first round, but this day was different.
I stayed in Jinhua to watch Huang Sunhong train. More precisely, to listen to Lee Kang-in. He was scheduled to attend a pre-training interview, so he extended his stay in Jinhua for a while.
When I arrived at the Jinhua Sports Center Auxiliary Stadium, where the training was taking place, I saw a lot of journalists. It was another day of Chinese Asian Games volunteers, and it was a crowd that seemed to fit in with China.
7pm. The interview went as usual. A series of questions were asked and Lee’s answers were captured on microphones, cameras, and cell phones. After about 10 minutes of talking, Lee finally freed himself from the reporters. It was a light step to freedom. 메이저사이트
Seeing that, he inwardly breathed a sigh of relief. ‘If I didn’t qualify for the round of 16, I would have been devastated,’ he said.
Lee Kang-in stood in front of the microphone while Hwang Sun-hong had already qualified for the round of 16, which made it easier for Lee Kang-in and the reporters on the scene to create a relaxed and casual interview.
On the other hand, what if Korea was included in the ‘number of cases’ and needed help from other countries to advance to the round of 16? And what if Lee Kang-in joined the interview in this atmosphere?
I can already think of words to describe the scene. ‘Sullen’, ‘depressed’, ‘stoic’, and so on.
Whether the situation is good or bad, each person has to fulfill their responsibilities, and sometimes this causes ‘discomfort’, but there is no need to weigh each other down from the first meeting in a foreign country.
So I applaud the remaining 21 players!
