The Jeju United U-12 and U-15 youth teams won the 57th Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Sports Festival and secured a ticket to the 52nd National Youth Sports Festival.
The Jeju U-12 youth team reached the top by winning 4-1 in the final against Hwabuk Elementary School held at 11:00 am on April 16th. The Jeju U-15 youth team (Jeju Middle School) defeated Jeju Central Middle School 2-0 in the final at 2:00 pm on the same day and lifted the championship cup.
Coach Park Jin-ok (Jeju U-12 Youth Team) and Coach Shin Byeong-ho (Jeju U-15 Youth Team), who were former professional players in Jeju, led the team to the championship with their unwavering leadership and earned the qualification to participate in the National Youth Sports Festival, which was their goal.
